The Brown's Have Finally Arrived!

Ah, it feels exciting and slightly liberating to finally be doing this....starting a blog that is. See, ever since I learned how to write, I have loved it. I love writing stories and poems, jotting down thoughts and ideas that randomly come to my head, and trying to explain real life experiences in a way that might make it interesting enough to read, no matter how boring or bland the actual experience may have been. With that being said, does that mean I ever get around to writing in any of the couple dozen blank journals I own? Sadly, no it does not. With full intent, and a conscience that constantly nags at the back of my mind to record entries for my future posterity to read, most of my journals remain on the shelf, blank and collecting dust. Life just gets too hectic and crazy for such luxuries as writing to take place.

However, as a newly married woman, with an amazing husband, and all sorts of new and exciting things happening in OUR lives, I have no more excuses to procrastinate. I am counting on this blogging thing to help kick me into gear. I really want to have those fun memories to look back on, with a cute crafty feel (without all the actual crafty work), and would be thrilled if any family or friends decide to drop by our page from time to time to see what's happenin' with the Brown's. Just assume I'm already stalking yours :)

(Which is another reason I've held off on this for so long- it's such a time sucker! How will I ever get anything done when there are so many blogs to read, links to check out, and pictures to look at?) Sigh.

But hey, even if no one ever reads this but Vance and I, it's completely worth it, because this blog is about us and for us. Who doesn't love looking back on old times and reminiscing? :)
